Happy Christmas everyone.... the Sidford to Sid Park Road section of the Sidford to Sidmouth cycleway has been completed on schedule and is already proving to be a great success. Andy Webb contacted me and asked if there could/would be an official opening and yes there will be in the New Year so watch this space. With Woolies closing their stores the knock on effect is going to be enormous in towns such as Sidmouth and Dawlish as many people who used to purchase their CD's and DVD's etc  which resulted in them doing other shopping in the towns will now be forced to travel to either Exeter or further afield. Lets hope that these stores aren't left empty for too long and that the right retailer will fill the void left by the once huge High Street Icon.
